One of our favourite makeup combinations here at BN Beauty is definitely pairing a neutral eye makeup with bold & popping lips. It’s very pretty and stays true to one of the longest standing makeup rules out there – “if you are going for a bold eye makeup, go plain on the rest of your face.”

For Kenyan blogger Nancie Mwai, style and beauty are almost as important as her hubby and new born baby girl. She has been away from blogging while pregnant – giving us great style inspiration for pregnancy – and now she is back with her 1st makeup tutorial.

For this look, she went with a neutral toned eyeshadow creating a darker edge at both outer corners of her eyes. She then finished her look with a pop of purple on her lips.
